Accessability

Accessibility at Stocken Camping:

Reception, Shop Handlar’n and Mini-golf kiosk

The entrance to the Shop/Reception is at ground level, has automatic door opening, and is accessible for wheelchair/walker. We are working to make these premises more accessible, but if you need help with anything, do not hesitate to ask our staff for assistance.

The Golf kiosk has a ramp onto the wooden deck to buy ice cream, coffee, and rent clubs/balls for mini-golf and socialize around the outdoor tables.

Camping and Service houses

We have a number of camping pitches that are extra large, all with access to electricity.

Adjacent to these pitches is Service House 3, with a ramp to the entrance and automatic door opening. Here are four larger family bathrooms, two of which are accessibility adapted with a toilet with foldable armrests, shower with shower chair, and sink with a mirror at wheelchair height and an alarm. The bathroom door has a pull handle and a reference sign.

The disposal facility for grey- and blackwater at Service House 3 is accessed via a few steps. However, the Service Station inside the campsite has easily accessible black- and gray water emptying at ground level, with automatic door opening. Here you can also fill up with fresh water in your motorhome with a hose.

Service House 1 has an automatic door to the dish room with hand washing and dishwasher. All sinks are at normal height. The dish room in Service House 1 is at ground level, with a threshold. Service House 2 has a small asphalt elevation to the door, and a threshold.

The kitchen/hand washing in Service House 1 has steps to the entrance, while Service House 2 kitchen/hand washing is at ground level, with a threshold.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all common areas at the campsite.

Cabins – see pictures of our cabins inside: Cabins at Stocken Camping

Our cabins are not accessibility adapted. There are stairs/steps up to all cabins and holiday homes’ foredeck, except for large cabin 14 which has a wooden ramp. There are thresholds into the cabins.

In the bathrooms of the large cabins, there is a shower wall with a curtain. The holiday homes have smaller bathrooms with a shower cabin.

The large cabins and holiday homes are located on a height with an asphalt road up with a steep slope.

We have special cabins for guests with dogs, which is indicated when booking and on the website.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all cabins and mobile homes.

Restaurant

The restaurant has a wooden ramp onto the outdoor deck and there is an alternative threshold-free entrance into the restaurant itself.

Indoors, most areas are spacious and there are two larger accessibility adapted toilets.

There are two parking spaces for the disabled right outside the restaurant. To access these, as the restaurant is located inside the campsite area, contact the restaurant or the campsite reception.

For information or questions about a visit to the restaurant: info@stockensrestaurang.se) or call +4630443060.

Public transport

Västtrafik’s bus stop to and from the campsite is about 200 meters of asphalt road from the reception building. Bus line 372 serves the stop called “Stocken camping“.
